I'm making Kathryn a scarf for her B-day

I decided to make my friend, Kathryn, (I'm renting her bedroom) a scarf for her birthday. I mean, I could just purchase a present, but I think this would be better--to actually homemake something.

Now I just have to go to the store to select yarn and also buy knitting needles because I left all of my crafting stuff in Chicago, and I didn't own the larger knitting needles anyway.
