I biked to work today
I biked to work today, woohoo! I feel great actually, I think it is the endorphins. I have no idea how it is going to go on the way back, actually, because it will be dark. though I got a bike light for the front and the back the other day, and the back is actually a flashing red light.I want to be in really good shape, if I can't afford a new used car. When I was changing into my work clothes in the bathroom, I think I already do look pretty muscular and thin, if I can brag about that...
It only took me 35 minutes, I mean, it's only 4 miles. I could get to work my sooner, but I spend time waiting at traffic lights. Nobody rides bikes here because it is, according to Catherine, "so cold!"

I take that back, biking home though Irvine was like a death wish! people driving in the bike lane, and I almost got hit by a car, even though I had a bike light and everything! People are just tired and impatient, they want to get home ASAP and are not looking for people on bikes. It was terrible.
maybe I could ride my bike once it is light out after work though. A major problem is just people not being able to see me!
