practical
I think I am becoming like my parents because I just want practical things for Christmas. For example, my sister asked me what I wanted and I thought about it for a while, then told her I just wanted pajamas. She called me last night and asked what kind. I said, "pink ones," but we were both on our cell phones and the connection wasn't very good. "with sequins?" she said. "no, pink ones" I replied, but now with sequins is the joke.then halfway through our conversation she exclaims, "I have to let you go! My boy. . . a cute guy is calling me on the other line!" So I was like, "Jeanne, I see how much you value my conversation!"
but I would be the same way. "I'll have to call you back!!"
