Im hoping you find a job and find one soon! It has been fun to read your blog, ever since you left a comment on mine.
It's great to connect with other believers, literally from around the world.
I am familiar with your situation searching for a job...it is a hard season. But endure-it will lead you to your next "stepping stone" in life. I believe every "job" or experience we have just opens door upon door of opportunity for future needs/ways God will provide.

thanks for the comment! I think I do like my temp job, however the pay is let than what (I think) I need to be making. So, if they make me an offer for a permanent job, I'm going to have to let them know that it needs to be a little higher or no deal, basically.

Congrats on the temp job--even some money is better than none when you're new to a place like SoCal. I am proud of you for makig this move---but it is gettign sort of popular. I know of another Wheatie who will be moving to Berkley area soon in search of a better weather forecast and some waves.

the mortgage company is so busy right now, I mean, they're slammed. so they don't care at this point if I work overtime, which means that I can generate more income.
