May Day Celebration

church was fun today. they had a "May Day" open house of ministries in the house next door to the building that our church purchased months back; I should say, to quote Anita, "the house that God gave us." Our Saturday a.m. women's group, which meets the 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month, had a place where we displayed the information for our group. And we gave each woman a carnation with the flyer (that also had a flower design) with our group's info.

It was so much fun. I totally enjoyed giving out the carnations, and talking to people about the group. Also, we decided to raffle a book, "The Five Love Languages of God" at our display table, to add a little pizzaz.

The group that was voted with the best display table wins use of the house's jacuzzi spa. I hope we win! after all, we *are* a lot of hardworking women.

It's okay if we don't win, too. I had fun anyway.
